PRESENT HEAD OF HOUSE: At the time of accession, Jhanjheu had become a Chunadibandh Thikana, the property of the descendants of the five sons of Thakur Swarup Singh, 3rd Thakur Saheb of Lakhasar, all of whom had settled in Jhanjheu.
PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The thikana of Jhanjheu was granted to Thakur Chattar Singh [aka Chatra Singh], younger son of Thakur Daan Singh, Thakur Saheb of Lakhasar. Shortly after 1913, Raja Jeevraj Singhji, incurred the wrath of HH Maharaja Ganga Singhji Sahib of Bikaner and was expelled from Bikaner, with the estate being granted to Thakur Sultan Singhji, an agnatic relative. (A) Kunwar Jeevraj Singh, son of Thakur Tej Singh of Bhawad (see Khetasar), he was adopted by Thakur Kalyan Singh of Jhanjheu in 1866 and succeeded there as Raja Jeevraj Singh, 4th Thakur Saheb of Jhanjheu (qv).
Rao Bahadur Raja Jeevraj Singhji, 4th Thakur Saheb of Jhanjheu and Thakur Saheb of Ridi [or Reri], born 1855 in Bhawad as Kunwar Jeevraj Singh, son of Thakur Tej Singh of Bhawad, he was adopted by Thakur Kalyan Singh of Jhanjheu in 1866, his childhood time was spent with Maharaja Dungar Singhji of Bikaner, he was granted patta of Kakde village in 1874 and was granted bada pol patta in 1878 by the Maharaja of Bikaner, he was granted Ridi and Punrasar thikana in 1879, and the Maharaja also gifted 20,000Rs to build a fort in Ridi, the Maharaja also granted 66,000 bighas of land in Bahawalpur riyasat he was granted the title of Raja on 24th September 1912 by Maharaja Ganaga Singhji of Bikaner and further elevated to the title of Rao Bahadur in January 1913, he was deprived of his estate of Ridi on 16th August 1923, and expelled from Bikaner by the Maharaja; married Rani (name unknown) and had issue, two sons and two daughters. He died 4th November 1926 or 19th June 1927 in Khatipura Palace, Jaipur.

Lt.-Colonel Thakur Ranjit Singh O.B.E., born in 1884, he was granted the villages of Gadwalla (or Gadhwala), Laderan and others by HH Maharaja Ganga Singhji in 1912; he was awarded the O.B.E. on 3rd June 1919, married 15th May 1907, and had issue.
