One day, out of nowhere, whenever I was in my latter middle school years, I wanted to grow in relationship with the Lord, and one, probably the only at the time, devotion I knew was the Rosary. From then on I prayed the rosary every Sunday. I would grab my "How to Pray the Rosary" Pamphlet as I made my way into the Church. That was very short lived. I left the Catholic church to seek a non-denominational Protestant ideology in my freshman year of high school. Just as my devotion to the rosary didn't last long, neither did my absence from the church. By the grace of God, I found myself reverting back to the Catholic faith on fire in the summer of 2023, just less than 5 or 6 months after leaving. As my relationship and familiarity with the faith grew, I came across a YouTube channel called "GabiAfterHours". Gabe preaches heavily on the 4 rosaries a day devotion. One day after picking up the devotion to the 4 rosaries a day, I began to hear Mary's voice telling me that I had to spread this devotion in the particular way of making rosaries and giving them out. I began to make them and give them out within a month of feeling this call. I interpreted this as giving rosaries out to people that are close to me. Mary had something else in her plan for me. One time, I was looking at all the rosaries I made while praying a rosary and I perceived Mary tell me that this isn't a devotion for the people you know and are comfortable with but for those you may not be comfortable with. This is when the idea of a Nationwide Rosary Mission came to play. To share the Rosary with the nation. Although I thought for sure this was the mission I was called to in this stage of my life, Mary had a good way of making a path and spoke to me in prayer asking me to spread her sorrows. Her sorrows are often neglected. Here is the birth of the Nationwide 7 Sorrows Mission. To share the Seven Sorrows devotion with the Nation. On September 5th, 2024, my spiritual director was going to New York to meet with some of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal that needed some nicer rosaries to pass out to the people on the streets. He asked me to drops some rosaries off at the church office. Amongst the surprise of rosaries going to New York so soon in the mission, on September 9th, 2024, a woman at my home parish that heard about the mission told me she was going to Italy and would be interested in bringing rosaries with her to spread the mission. At that moment the mission became Worldwide 7 Sorrows Mission.
