How to Pray the 7 Sorrows Chaplet:
1) Make the Sign of the Cross
2) Pray the Introductory Prayer and Act of Contrition
Introductory Prayer: My God, I offer you this Rosary in honor of the seven principal Sorrows of Mary, for your greatest glory, for my conversion and that of all people through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our salvation and our unique way to come to you, in union with the Holy Ghost for ever and ever. Amen.
Act of Contrition: O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended thee, and I detest all my sins because of your just punishments. I am sorry most of all because they offend thee, My God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, by the help of your grace, to sin no more and to avoid near occasions of sin. Amen.
3) Pray 3 Hail Mary's and Most Merciful Mother
Hail Mary: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Most Merciful Mother: Most Merciful Mother, remind us always about the Sorrows of your Son, Jesus. Amen.
4) At each "Our Father Bead" for each sorrow pray an Our Father followed by 7 Hail Marys and Most Merciful Mother Prayer
1) Prophecy of St. Simeon
2) Flight to Egypt
3) The Loss of Jesus in the Temple
4) The Meeting of Jesus and Mary on the Way to Calvary
5) The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus
6) The Piercing of the Side of Jesus, and His Descent from the Cross
7) The Burial of Jesus

5) Pray the Concluding Prayer
Concluding Prayer: Queen of Martyrs, your heart suffered so much. I beg you by the merits of the tears you shed in these terrible and sorrowful times, to obtain for me and all the sinners of the world the grace of complete sincerity and repentance. Amen.
