How to Register:
March 15th - registration open
april 15th - delegation complete and participant forms completed in IJRU registration system
APRIL 26th - Payment due and Athlete registration for events complete
REGISTRATION FEE - $170
BY april 15th
Create your Delegation within the registration system, including all athletes, coaches, judges and volunteers.
Go to registration.ijru.sport and make sure you have set up an account and entered your team roster, (you should have already done this for your Provincial competition). Find the "2024 Rope Skipping Canada National Championships" event , and:
Create your "Delegation" and name the delegation the same as your Club Name.
Add all athletes, coaches, judges and volunteers to your Delegation (you do not have to register athletes into events yet).
After adding everyone to your Delegation, click the blue "Submit Form" button beside each person's name.
Select the Role the person has at the competition (if an athlete is also judging, select "Athlete").
Select the T-Shirt size for each athlete, coach and judge (only select a t-shirt size for a judge if they need a new black judges shirt).
Once you have finished the form, you will see the "Submit Form" button on the Delegation listing for that person turn green.
Register JUDGES (in the Volunteer Nomination tab). Please note that ALL volunteers must be RSC members.
BY april 26th
Register all athletes into events by April 26th. Use the "Review Entries" tab to double-check your entries. You are responsible for the accuracy of your entries. Please see below for Table Manager and Music manager duties.
All music must be uploaded along with event registration

Coaches will register athletes for Nationals provided they have qualified as per RSC guidelines.
Freestyle table Manager and Music Manager Duties
Table Manager - one Table Manager per panel of freestyle judges
Checks the correct athlete is on the floor for the correct event - confirm with athlete
Confirm with the judges that they have the correct athlete and correct event on tablet
Table manager sets their stopwatch to zero. Has correct timing paddle for correct event

SRF freestyle event is max 60s. There is a warning paddle indicating “45s”
SR Pairs Freestyle event max 60s. There is a warning paddle indicating “45s”
All other freestyle events are max 75s. There is a warning paddle indicating “60s”
DD Triad freestyle event is max 90s. There is no warning paddle
Verify that all judges are ready
Confirm the athlete is ready. Athlete nods
Table manager holds up sign “athlete begin when ready”, Table manager nods to Music manager
(music manager starts music only when this “athlete begin when ready paddle goes up”)
Table manager starts timer either when music starts or when athlete starts
Holds up call out at 45 or 60 sec to athlete
At time (60 or 75sec), Table manager holds up Time paddle, calls “Time” to judges
Table manager stops the timer when the athlete finishes the final pose.
Table manager records time of event on Timer Journal, for proper athlete
Music Manager - one Music Manager per competition
Works in conjunction with the tournament director to verify event, table, and next athlete ID number
When table timer indicates that athletes and judges are ready, plays the appropriate music track from the playlist generated by the scoring program.
Press stop when the track is finished, or when the athlete finishes the ending pose and begins walking off the floor.
In the event of a technical glitch in the playlist, will play the track from the athlete or coach device.
Receives device from coach or athlete
Ensure the right connection/adapter for the device to be compatible with the sound system
Confirm the following with the coach
Is the device set to silent (so phone calls/text alerts/notifications will not be audible)
Does the device have password or face/thumb recognition? This should be removed
The device should be showing the correct track and should be at beginning of track
Ensure previous athlete is done and walking off floor before unplugging previous athlete’s device
Plug in new device
Ensure correct track is showing, at beginning of track and ready to press play
When the Table Manager holds up the sign “athlete begin when ready”, press play on music. Do not play before this sign goes up
Ideally the music will stop at the end of the routine. Press stop when the track is finished, or when the athlete finishes the ending pose and begins walking off the floor.
Device can be unplugged and given back to athlete/coach
