First NET Force engagement was held on September 21st 2020. This forum included 43 DFO participants nationally from Science, Policy & Economics, Marine Planning & Conservation, and Integrated Planning sectors, to begin a dialogue on objectives, regulatory framework, decision-making process and initiate a 3-year work plan. A draft conceptual model has been developed to initiate a discussion about the process of amalgamatic data and data products from different sources, standardizing legends and symbols, and visualizing uncertainty. Winter 2020

Second NET Force engagement forum will be held on December 2nd 2020. It will be the first event to release this DFO-led initiative with other federal, provincial and territorial government departments, First Nations and Indigenous groups, stakeholders, and other parties interested in eelgrass mapping.
