This logo was created on February 13, 2026 to represent NPCW – National Postcard Week, an annual celebration that began in 1984.
The purpose of the design is to promote the hobby of deltiology (postcard collecting) and to celebrate the timeless art of sending postcards.
The circular layout is inspired by a traditional postal cancellation mark, symbolizing the journey of mail through the postal system.
The incorporated postage stamp featuring a mailbox represents the act of sending and receiving postcards — a central theme of National Postcard Week.
The bold “NPCW” lettering serves as the focal point, ensuring immediate recognition of the event, while the overall vintage postal aesthetic reflects the history and tradition behind postcard collecting.
The main goal of the logo is to visually represent NPCW in a way that honors both the collectors and the meaningful act of mailing postcards
Whether the postcard you receive is intricate and professionally designed or handmade with love, just remember
National Postcard Week is all about the joy of sharing and receiving
as we celebrate this wonderful week-long postal holiday together!
