America’s history of national parks is mentioned in the article along with John Muir and Theodore Roosevelt’s work in creating the system of national parks. These ideas of conservation are not new. The promotion of conservation efforts have been around for thousands of years and are still going on today. Even teenagers are being awarded for their efforts to make change.
