Morning Run #2
I don't know exactly why Washington Park felt more uplifting today, but it did, and I'm happy it did. I work up early to go on a run, dark and cold outside, but peaceful and silent.
Today Washington Park was lively feeling. More people, more animals, more wind, and leaves. Something that is not usually felt here for me. When I go to Washington Park, I usually feel the peacefulness and soothing environment. Not that it wasn't peaceful and soothing, but the feeling of liveliness was much more prominent.
One thing that amazes me is how well this Park is very kept including: clean water, well trimmed, and trash free. Nobody wants to trash this park, they respect the beauty and want to preserve it.
I felt the water, cold, not water to swim in. This was a suprise to me and a sign that winter is finally hear. Another sign to me was the amount of leaves on the trees. Only a few weeks ago they were full, vibrant, and green. Now the leaves lay on the ground, away from their tree, dead and discolored. Signifying the change of season.
