I am pleased to sit on the Technical and Skills Advisory Board (TSAB) of the Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC). The AICC is an initiative led by Ulster University in partnership with Queen's University Belfast with the primary goal to advance awareness and adoption of artificial intelligence technologies among businesses across Northern Ireland.
The TSAB is specifically tasked with advising the centre of emerging AI trends and the state-of-the-art technologies that will soon shape the landscape (think: "agentic AI" in late 2024).
I have begun to undertake consultancy for early-stage AI start-ups working closely with SMEs in both Northern Ireland and London. I primarily advise technical teams on how to up-skill their teams and enhance their products through the effective and responsible use of data and machine learning. This includes diagnosing data challenges at every stage of the pipeline (sourcing, governance, cleaning) along with guiding teams on model selection, building, evaluation, and deployment.
Some case studies and testimonies will be available and posted here soon.
