My biggest contribution towards any yearbook (from a writing perspective) was the large amount of stories I had published in In This Moment. In my free time I write creatively, and have done so ever since I can remember. Writing journalistically is an entirely different experience; it's a chance to tell someone else's story in a way that's never been told before. You get to take someone else's words, their life, and use your own words to make sure everyone knows who they are. While I haven't had the chance to write as much recently as I would have liked to, I hope my words from In This Moment will suffice to tell those high schoolers' stories.
