I am currently 18 years old

My experiences

I was in a running start program my senior year of high school named AMLA, which is a partnership between Skills Inc and Clover Park Technical College to make new machinists young. So, instead of going to high school every day I went to Skills Inc to learn how to become a machinist. While at skills Inc I was getting about a year of college credits for an associate in applied science in Manufacturing Engineering Technologies (MET). I was in AMLA from august 2024 to June 2025. 

After I graduated from AMLA, I was offered a summer internship by skills Inc, where I spent four weeks just working with a mentor on a CNC mill machine, then a week on the water jet and metal press machines, and finally a week in programming and schedule. 

What I'm doing now 

Right now, I am finishing my associate in applied science in MET. I plan to be finished with it in the summer of 2026. 

What I intend to do

Has of right now I want to work for Boeing as a general Machinist or Blue Origin as a CNC machinist.
