I am committed to high-quality teaching in mathematics, as well as efforts to facilitate opportunities for a wider range of students in STEM and make math as a field more welcoming for historically excluded groups. I have taught a variety of undergraduate courses at both Washington University and Brown University (see List of Courses Taught for a full list). Additionally, I have participated in some more non-traditional teaching experiences, such as leading math circles and a workshop for high school math teachers. I have also participated in teaching professional development activities, including a Teaching Certificate program at the Center for Teaching and Learning at WUSTL as well as Brown's Sheridan Center.
I additionally served as an undergraduate mentor during the 2020 Polymath REU; see https://www.ams.org/journals/notices/202103/rnoti-p375.pdf. I again mentored a group in the summer of 2023; see https://geometrynyc.wixsite.com/polymathreu. I mentored in the Polymath program in the summers of 2024 and 2025 as well.
I have participated and led activities in the Brown University Math Circle at Achievement First High School in Providence, RI: https://sites.google.com/brown.edu/mathcircle/home?authuser=0
I am a 2024 Project NeXT fellow, see https://maa.org/programs-and-communities/professional-development/project-next.
