Pangolin

General info

The pangolin can roll into a solid ball and protect it self from predators. Its scales is made out of carotin. Carotin is believed to be main ingredient in medicine, this is not true because the only carotin does to you is the same effect has eating your fingernails. The pangolin feeds on ants and other insects.

Why is this animal endangered

The main reasons pangolins are endangered because they want the pangolin scales and meat. The scale is hunted as it is believed to have medicinal properties. However that is not proven.
