Welcome Members!

Our Story:

Northern Adirondack Trailbreakers was formed in 1994 with 15 members. Those original members donated the funds to purchase our first groomer. It was a small gas-powered machine that moved a step above a snail’s pace, that we always were working on out in the cold.

Since then, we have grown to 400 members and purchased a brand-new Tucker Sno-Cat Groomer in 2019 with two drags.

We currently maintain 67 miles of trails in Clinton County in the Ellenburg/Churubusco area and another 17 miles in Franklin County in the Burke/Malone area. We want to thank all of our members who volunteer every year to help us maintain and groom our trails!

We would like to publicly thank all the landowners who allow snowmobile trails on their property. Without these landowners, snowmobiling would not be possible. Snowmobiling is a great way for people of all ages to get outdoors in the winter, it brings revenue into the area at a time when it’s needed the most and, as we all know, it’s just plain fun.

BE RESPECTFUL to all our landowners! They are the reason that we have the trails!

We want to remind everyone, that our trails system is not open to ATVs or UTVs; unless you own the property.
