Hello and welcome to my website! I'm Natarajan Subramanian, a Scientist & Assistant Professor (AcSIR) in Chemical Sciences at CSIR-CECRI in Karaikudi, India. My journey in the realm of research began with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, specializing in lithium-ion battery recycling, at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI) in Gujarat, India, which I completed in 2018.
Currently, my research is focused on the recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) materials and e-waste materials for energy storage applications. Specifically, I'm dedicated to developing low-cost and economical recycling methodologies for spent lithium-ion batteries in a greener and more sustainable manner. My work extends beyond battery recycling to encompass the application of recycled materials in both batteries and supercapacitors.
I'm deeply passionate about advancing recycling technologies for lithium-ion batteries, with a particular emphasis on environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Through my research, I aim to contribute to the development of efficient and eco-friendly energy storage solutions that can meet the growing demands of our society.
I'm passionate about collaborating with fellow researchers, industry professionals, and students who share my interests in battery recycling and energy storage solutions. If you're interested in learning more about my work or exploring potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out. I'm always eager to connect.
