Natalie Struwe, PhD
I am an Experimental Economist and a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Finance at the University of Innsbruck.
My main reserach interest includes questions related to cooperation and social dilemmas like the provision of public goods or the sustainable governance of natural resources.
Using experimental methods, I study the behavior of individuals and groups in social dilemma situations, which characterize the strategic configuration of many core societal challenges. My research aims to inform policy in the design of effective (behavioral) institutions to promote voluntary collective action essential in transforming our societies into more sustainable ones (as outlined, for example, by the UN Sustainable Development Goals).Â
In addition, I am pursuing fundamental research questions related to advancing our understanding of cooperation and prosocial behavior.
