I am an Experimental Economist and Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Finance at the University of Innsbruck.
My research addresses questions related to cooperation and collective action in social dilemma situations, like the conservation of natural resources, ecosystems and biodiversity, and the public-good services they provide to human and planetary well-being.
Using experimental methods, I study the behavior of individuals and groups in social dilemma situations that characterize the strategic configuration of many core societal challenges. My research aims to inform policy in the design of effective institutions to promote collective action essential in transforming our societies into more sustainable ones (as outlined, for example, by the UN Sustainable Development Goals).Â
In addition, I am pursuing fundamental research questions related to advancing our understanding of cooperation and prosocial behavior.
