Frankly, before this course, I hadn't really heard of Access. I'd seen the symbol once or twice and heard it's name in passing, but I never actually knew what it did. I assumed it was redundant and useless and that's why I'd never used it. Now, I know it's an extremely useful relationship tool that would come especially in handy when scheduling and creating large events with lots of moving pieces. While I'm not sure it's something I'll ever use in my professional life, I have the skills to navigate it should I need to.
As for Excel, I learned several new functions. Perhaps the most useful ones I learned are the logical functions, like IF and OR. Since I tend to use Excel a lot, especially in my field of choice, I'm sure to be putting the new tricks I learned to good use. I also run an Etsy shop, which means I can now easily create a spreadsheet similar to the ones we practiced with in Cengage using those logical functions I mentioned!
I definitely know more now about what makes up a computer, who and how internet services are provided, and am much more aware of what qualifies as a computer.
Natasha and Office 365 having a grand ol' time.
