Physicals

Step 1: Students & one parent/guardian create BigTeams accounts.

• Students create an account on BigTeams using a password that can be easily remembered. Recovering lost passwords can be difficult for student accounts. 

  • • • Incoming 7th grade students graduation year: 2031

      • Incoming 8th grade students graduation year: 2030

• One parent/guardian must create an account on BigTeams after the student and link the account to their child's. This can be done when creating the parent account. 

• Students should log on to their account and accept the link account invitation.

• Write down the password being used. These are difficult to recover on student accounts!

**Students & parents that already have a BigTeams account should use the existing account.**

Step 2: Students & parent/guardians complete sections 1-6 under Athletic Forms tab

• Log on to account --> Forms --> Athletic Forms --> Scroll to bottom of page.

• Select & complete blue links for sections 1-5.

Step 3: Get a physical

• Students should have a physical completed by a doctor on the PIAA Section 6 document.

**ONLY PIAA SECTION & PHYSICAL FORMS ARE ACCEPTED FOR PARTICIPATION IN ATHLETICS. SEE A LINK TO THIS DOCUMENT UNDER THE RESOURCES SECTION ABOVE. A copy of this will be provided to the students at the school.**

• Free physicals will be offered at the beginning of each sports season. 

Step 4: Upload a picture of the Section 6 form on the student BigTeams account

• Students should take a picture of the Section 6 form using a cell phone or chromebook. 

• Log on to the student account --> Athletic Forms --> Section 7 link.

• Upload picture using the "upload document" button. 

• Ensure all forms are initialed by students and parent/guardians.

How to know if the student is eligible for tryouts:

After all forms are created correctly by the students & parent/guardians each form will be marked "complete" under the status section. 

All forms must be marked complete for students to be eligible to tryout for an athletic team!

If a form says "pending staff approval" it has been submitted for final approval to the athletic coordinator. Once approved, it will be marked complete. If it is not completed correctly, it will be marked "Incomplete" in red font.
