Important Athletic Policies

School attendance rules

1.  Students must be in school by 10:15 a.m. each morning to participate in practices/games. 

2.  Students must ride the shuttle/bus to practices/games.

3.  Students are not permitted to attend practice if they do not attend school.

Transportation home from practices & games

Late buses will be available for all students to take home. There will be three late buses home (east end, west end, and township). All buses will depart from the school at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified. Any students present at the school at the time the late buses depart must be put on the buses to ensure safe transportation home. 

Athletic contests may end after the departure time of the late buses. Therefore, students must set up their own transportation home prior to the day of the contest. Any students without arranged transportation home should not attend away games. School transportation is not available after the late buses depart. 

Eligibility

Students are expected to uphold eligibility requirements outlined by their middle school. See your school's athletic policies for eligibility requirements & procedures. 

Returning school-provided equipment

The school may provide equipment and uniforms to students during various sports seasons. All equipment provided will be logged by the coaches. Students must return equipment provided by the school at the end of each season. Students will be required to cover the cost of any lost items. If a student does not cover the cost of any lost items they will be barred from participating in school functions such as: field trips, awards days, 8th grade promotion, etc.
