This Privacy Policy applies to the Scoreboard App (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, developed by Narvery (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a Freemium service and is supported by advertising.
This policy is intended to inform users about how the Service Provider collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the Application. By downloading or using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you download and use the Application, the Service Provider may automatically collect the following information:
• Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Your device's model, operating system, and version
• The pages and features of the Application you access, along with timestamps
• Application crash reports and diagnostic data (via third-party crash reporting services)
The Application does not collect precise GPS location data from your device.
On first launch, the Application will ask you to enter your age. This is used solely to determine if specefic advertising settings should be applied. Your age is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party.
The Application may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information to enhance your experience (for example, a player name or team name). Any such information stays on your device only and is not collected or retained by us, the Service Provider in any way.
The Service Provider uses the collected information for the following purposes:
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Application
• To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdMob
• To process in-app purchases through Google Play Billing
• To analyze usage patterns and diagnose technical issues
• To contact you with important notices, updates, or promotional communications where applicable
• To comply with legal obligations
The Application integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services operate under their own privacy policies, which are independent of ours. The Service Provider is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
The third-party services used by the Application are:
Google AdMob
The Application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. The type of ads served depends on the age entered by the user at first launch. For users aged 13 and above, AdMob may serve personalised ads based on device identifiers, usage data, and interests. For users under 13, AdMob is configured with Child-Directed Treatment (CDT), meaning only non-personalised, child-safe ads are served with no interest-based targeting. You can review Google's privacy practices at:

Google Play Services
The Application uses Google Play Services for core Android functionality and app distribution. Google Play Services may collect certain device and usage data. You can review Google's privacy policy at:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Google Play Billing (in-App Purchases)
In-app purchases within the Application are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment information is handled entirely by Google and is never accessed or stored by the Service Provider. For information on how Google handles payment data, please refer to Google's privacy policy above.
The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, which may be personalized based on your interests. Ad personalisation is determined by the age you enter on first launch. If you are 13 or older, personalised ads may be shown based on your interests and device identifiers. If you are under 13, Child-Directed Treatment (CDT) is automatically enabled, and only non-personalised, COPPA-compliant ads will be served.
Users aged 13 or older, who wish to opt out of interest-based advertising, can disable Ads Personalization on their Google Account by following standard procedures mentioned by Google. Note that opting out does not reduce the number of ads shown — it means the ads shown will be less tailored to your interests.
The Service Provider does not sell any collected data as mentioned in section 2 to third parties. The Service Provider may share your information only in the following circumstances:
With trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Application, subject to confidentiality obligations
As required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or government request
To protect the rights, safety, or property of the Service Provider, users, or the public
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the Service Provider's assets, in which case users will be prominently notified via the Application
The Service Provider retains collected data as mentioned in section 2 for as long as the Application is in use and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you wish to request deletion of any data, please contact the Service Provider at the email address listed in Section 13. Requests will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
The Application is a scoreboard utility designed for users of all ages, including children under the age of 13. The Service Provider is committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable children's privacy laws.
On first launch, the Application asks the user to enter their age as mentioned in section 2.2. This age is stored locally on the device only and is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party. It is used exclusively to determine the appropriate advertising settings as mentioned in section 5 and 8.4.
The Application automatically collects certain technical, non-personal data from all users (including children) to operate and improve the service as mentioned in section 2.1. This data is collected at a technical level and is not used to personally identify any individual user, including children.
Information entered by the user for scorekeeping purposes (such as team names or player names) is stored locally on the device only and is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party.
Advertising behaviour is automatically adjusted based on the age entered at first launch:
Users aged 13 and above: Google AdMob may serve personalised ads based on device identifiers and interests
Users under 13: Child-Directed Treatment (CDT) is automatically enabled. AdMob will serve only non-personalised, child-safe ads with no interest-based targeting, remarketing, or use of personal data for ad purposes
This age-based approach ensures the Application is COPPA-compliant for younger users while preserving ad relevance for adult users. For more information on Google's child-directed ad policies, visit:

Right to Uninstall: You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application using your device's standard uninstall process or via the mobile application marketplace.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any material changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and revising the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are encouraged to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
