Self-pilot narrowboats in the Chilterns
VICTORIA & ALBERT our 38ft semi-traditional style narrowboats (above) are available for self-drive day hire for up to 10 people from Cowroast Marina Tring. Cruise The Grand Union Canal, North over the Chilterns for Bulbourne and the Grand Junction Arms, and through to Marsworth, or South down to Port of Berkhamsted. For your comfort during the day, there is a flush toilet, a small gas cooker with 4 burners, a fridge, hot and cold running water, a well-equipped galley. There is even a radiator to keep the cabin warm on cooler days, and a USB phone charger. Prices include Diesel and instruction. (Note. we don't supply pots and pans) 40 minutes instruction on Boat and Lock operation, Beginners most welcome, as full training given. We also drive boats out of the marina, and bring them back in on your return.
