The UNFCCC COP25 in Madrid, Spain in Dec 2019
Welcome!
I am a second-year PhD student in Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University, working with Prof. Patrick Keys. My research focuses on the decadal prediction of extreme climate events, particularly heatwaves, over the western US using Machine Learning methods.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Science Technology and Society (STS) in 2020. I then pursued a Master's degree in the Climate Theory Lab, completing it in 2022. During my Master's program, I studied climate reversibility and hysteresis of European summer heat extremes and precipitation in response to CO2 forcing. This research was conducted under the guidance of Profs. Soon-Il An and Daehyun Kim.
Please get in touch if you want to work together on climate extremes, hydrology, and land-sea-air interaction!
My detailed CV is available here.
