ABSTRACT
Acquiring property is a significant investment, requiring thorough research and access to reliable data, especially during periods of global uncertainty. Historical transactional data, including rental information, is crucial for analyzing price trends and making informed decisions. However, in Malaysia, access to such data is restricted as the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH), which holds extensive property records, only offers offline request processes. This lack of transparency limits market efficiency and hinders data-driven decision-making. This study aims to address these challenges by developing a secure, user-friendly online platform that improves accessibility to JPPH’s transactional and rental data. The platform differentiates between public data and detailed transactional records that require subscription-based access. Among the key highlights of the study include the integration of machine learning techniques for advanced data analytics and dynamic data display, enabling users to extract deeper insights and identify market trends. The platform utilizes the agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), leveraging technologies such as Python for data analytics and FastAPI with ReactJS for web development. The study’s primary contribution is the design and implementation of a cross-compatible, intuitive platform that enhances data transparency and supports informed decision-making in the property market. By providing seamless access to valuable property data, the platform has the potential to improve market attractiveness and usability significantly.
