Welcome to my website. I'm a Neapolitan researcher specializing in the history and philosophy of science.

I explore questions about the relation of mathematics to the empirical sciences, the history and methodology of modeling, and the responsible design and use of mathematical models for policy, esp. on climate change

Currently, I'm Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow in the Math Department at Politecnico di Milano and member of the STEM education lab EFFEDIESSE.

I'm the author of L'Analogia nell'Indagine Scientifica (FrancoAngeli, forthcoming) and of several peer-reviewed articles in the philosophy of science and applied ethics.

For my work in theaters, schools and prisons, I'm the recipient of a Maynard Adams Fellowship for the Public Humanities (2018) and of a Polisocial Award (2023).
