Welcome to my website. I'm a researcher specializing in the philosophy of science and applied ethics.

I explore questions about the relation of mathematics to the empirical sciences, the history and methodology of modeling, and the responsible design and use of mathematical models for public policy

Currently, I'm Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow in the Mathematics Department at Politecnico di Milano, part of the STEM education lab EFFEDIESSE, and member of the social sciences study unit META.

I'm the author of L'Analogia nell'Indagine Scientifica (Milano: FrancoAngeli) and of several peer-reviewed articles in the philosophy of science and applied ethics.

For my work in theaters, schools, and prisons, I'm the recipient of a Maynard Adams Fellowship for the Public Humanities (2018) and of two Polisocial Awards (2023, 2024).
