I enjoy playing the piano outside of my economics studies. I was a member of the University of Tokyo Piano Society during my undergraduate and master's studies. During my PhD in Cambridge, I received the St Edmund's College Instrumental Award and performed at various events organized by the college, including college concerts, matriculation, and graduation ceremonies. My repertoire ranges from classical (Bach, Beethoven, Chopin) to modern and contemporary music (Debussy, Ravel).
