Nanyu Chen

Welcome! I received my Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Business School in May 2026. Previously, I worked at the International Monetary Fund as a summer intern in the Fund Internship Program. 

Prior to doctoral studies, I earned a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Emory University, and a M.S. in Financial Economics from Columbia Business School.

I will join Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance as an Assistant Professor of Finance in Fall 2026.

Research Interests: International Macroeconomics and Finance, Financial Intermediation, Monetary Policy.
