The main focus of QuantumNano Lab group is on fabrication of high quality quantum dots. At present the group is working on colloidal carbon dots, Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) Quantum dots, Perovskite QDs, InP, CdSe/ZnSe/ZnS core shell Quantum dots. The group is also working on quantum dot containing optical fibers. Some part of the work is also dedicated to development of QD based single photon sources for quantum communication application.
