Results

1st stage: Sept-Dec 2019

  • Water-soluble conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CP-NP) based on MEH-PPV were successfully prepared by the emulsification method using Pluronic

  • Optical and morphological characterization of CP-NP was performed (UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS measurements)

2nd stage: Jan-Dec 2020

  • Water-soluble conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CP-NP) based on PCPDTBT were successfully prepared by two methods: (i) emulsification using Pluronic and (ii) nanoprecipitation; the CP-NP were optically and morphologically characterized;

  • Spherical gold nanoparticles were conjugated with PCPDTBT polymer and stabilized by Pluronic; the obtained nano-conjugates were optically characterized;

  • Gold nanoparticle aggregates (GNA) were synthesized through a previously developed method and characterized; GNA were coupled with PCPDTBT polymer and the conjugates were characterized;

  • Gold nanoparticle aggregates were prepared through a newly developed method using PCPDTBT polymer; The obtained conjugates were stabilized with Pluronic and optically characterized;

  • Spectroscopic measurements were carried out (fluorescence, Raman) on GNA-PCPDTBT and CP-NP (in progress);
