Open positions
Graduate Students: 1-2 MS/PhD or PhD in 2025
Highly motivated students for MS/PhD or PhD are welcome to apply. We will offer a stimulating multidisciplinary research environment and support. The current open positions with preferable (but not limited to) research topics are:
Chiral nanorobots (in collaboration with Max Planck Institute)
Nanophotonic metasurfaces and spectroscopy for sensing
Programmable plasmonics for optoelectronic and adaptive photonic devices
Novel phase change materials and active metasurfaces
If you are interested in our group, please contact Hyeon-Ho.
See also here for the GIST application.
Undergraduate Interns
We are always open to all undergraduate students who are self-motivated and eager to learn about broad knowledge & skills in nanoscience & technology.
We offer various opportunities to learn skills (based on your preference):
EM simulation: COMSOL, Lumerical
Cleanroom experience: e-beam & thermal evaporators, plasma, photolithography, sputter, ALD, PECVD, etc.
Solution chemistry: nanoparticle synthesis, coating, & self-assembly, surface chemistry
Electron microscopy, optics & optical spectroscopy
Our group members have various backgrounds (incl. Electronics, Materials, Physics, & Chemistry) and very support conducting multidisciplinary research.
If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Hyeon-Ho (or our group representative, Juhwan).
