Regenerative medicine holds the promise of revolutionizing healthcare by harnessing the body's innate capacity for repair and regeneration to treat a wide range of diseases and injuries. By leveraging advances in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, biomaterials, and gene therapy, regenerative medicine offers novel approaches for addressing unmet medical needs, particularly in areas such as degenerative diseases. Through the integration of nanotechnology with biology and engineering principles, nanobioengineering also offers unique opportunities to precisely control cellular behavior, deliver therapeutic agents, and create biomimetic scaffolds that mimic the native tissue microenvironment.
