I love bringing the world into my classroom; creating opportunities for my students to really use the language and develop their intercultural competence; using project-based learning & integrating Sustainable Development Goals into my teaching to help my students think globally, act locally and pave the way for them to become global citizens.
I am currently a PhD student in Applied Linguistics. I've been working on the research project dealing with Virtual Exchange and Global Citizenship Education.
I was a PGR rep (2023-2024) in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at Northumbria University and I'm currently the Editor-In-Chief of the Conference Proceedings for the 15th NNPCiLL (Newcastle & Northumbria Postgraduate Conference in Language and Linguistics).
