What is e-HAPPY?
The e-HAPPY Program is a digital agriculture and youth empowerment initiative under the broader HAPPY (Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth) Program, a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and Agri-Impact Limited. The programme is implemented in collaboration with multiple partners, including Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology through the KNUST E-Learning Centre and i-School Consult.
The e-HAPPY initiative focuses on equipping young people with digital, technological, and innovation-driven skills to transform agriculture and agribusiness in Ghana. The programme promotes the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), digital tools, drone technologies, and smart farming solutions to improve agricultural productivity, sustainability, and youth employment opportunities
