Advanced ceramics

We continue to work on the phase stability and residual stress characterization of advanced ceramic materials such as zirconia, alumina, nitrides and carbides. Over the years, we have investigated thermal barrier systems for enhancing the efficiency of aerospace turbines as well as materials for prosthetics - including dental.
