The cacao growing-farmers and families of the Natalged a Lasam Cacao Sustainable Cooperative (NaLaCAS ACo) are passionate about improving their livelihoods with cacao. 

Cacao being a high value crop, its agriculture and industry both get a strong backing  by the Local Government Unit of Lasam, headed by Mayor Dante Dexter A. Agatep, whose Natalged a Lasam Development Goal Pilars include livelihood development among its residents. The Mayor is banking on the huge global demand for cacao as an economic driver for the newly-minted First Class Municipality of Lasam, why he wishes more Lasameños would plant more cacao. 

With appropriate support mechanism in placed, "Wow Cacao" is poised to be a sunshine industry in the Municipality of Lasam, located in Northern Cagayan.
