Restless by nature, curious, in love with constant training, passionate about details and doing everything with the utmost care.
After analyzing what I liked the most, it was clear to me: makeup.
I decided to study aesthetics and beauty, because in this medium grade I could find the subject that summed up my passion.
Two years of my life that I enjoyed very much and that were based on skin cleansing, facial and body massages, facial diagnostics, waxing, body massage, manicure, pedicure... and MAKEUP.
Here I found another of my passions: facial care. I enjoyed every second observing and analyzing skins, seeing what they needed and pampering them.
When I finished this stage I continued with my initial path: more makeup!
So the best “official” option to continue in this apprenticeship was to opt for the higher degree of characterization and professional makeup. Another two years that, although I enjoyed it, I did not leave with the knowledge and experience I was looking for.
So I knew it didn't stop there, I had to keep improving and learning!
I finally learned what I was looking for, from professionals who do work in what they teach and offered me love for the profession, a lot of knowledge and experience. This stage will never end for me because I am passionate about learning. Besides, I feel that I will always be able to continue improving as a professional and as a person. I have taken courses in cosmetics, social make-up (which is the branch to which I dedicate myself: brides and guests) and hairdressing.
I like the people who choose me to know and feel that I do my best in every job I do.
Before, I did not consider myself a calm person, but, after working in days full of nerves and unforeseen events, accompanying brides who suffer from nerves, I have been told many times that I bring peace, security and tranquility. For me, make-up and hair styling is about flowing, enjoying the moment and I need to create that atmosphere. An atmosphere of serenity, that reflects that it is your moment of pampering and care, a moment to live in the present and not drown in the day full of agitation.
When I was studying esthetics I came across a video that said something like “Beauty without cruelty”, I didn't understand what it meant so my curiosity was aroused and I started to investigate. I came across terms like “animal testing”, “laboratory animals”, “test on animals” and I was horrified.
I have always been an animal lover, since I was a child I have lived with them and it broke my heart that the world of beauty (which was what I liked the most) meant directly their suffering. I decided not to support something that caused me so much pain. After this decision I began to investigate and chose not to use cosmetics tested on animals (that is, only choose those brands that were cruelty free).
This is my philosophy, everything I use is vegan (does not contain any animal ingredients) and has not been tested on animals. These aspects involve a lot of research and care when choosing what I work with, so in my kit you will not find brands that test on animals, instead you will find brands that are in line with my values: Nabla, Saigu, Danessa Myricks, Urban Decay, Maria Orbai Essentials, Hourglass, Maria Nila Stockholm, Eleven Australia...
This does not compromise the quality of my work, but rather increases its value even more, from my point of view.
