"I don’t get out of our offices often enough, but last week my toes were definitely not yoga-worthy and a pedicure was in order. So I put my feet in the capable hands of Michelle Piacentino at Oasis Day Spa in Dobbs Ferry. My trust was not misplaced. In addition to having a rollicking good time chatting with her (she’s been doing nails since she was 14, so she clearly loves her work), I received a meticulous—and luxurious—milk and honey pedicure. Rasps and files were disposable; there were no whirlpool jets in the tub to pass along previous patron’s germs. Added bonus: she convinced me to go with a darker polish than my usual (“darker colors draw attention to the nails so you don’t notice blemishes or bunions as much”). Days of milk and honey indeed!"
