Epicollect: Efficient, quality-assured data capture using a mobile phone for medical faculty & public health professionals working in north India: 24-25 April 2018

The Epidemiological Research Unit alongwith technical assistance of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) and Public Health Research & Assistance Society (PHRASe) organized the hands-on workshop with Dr. Nafis Faizi (AMU/PHRASe) as Lead Trainer, Dr. Hemant D Shewade (The Union), Dr. Pruthu TK (The Union) as Trainers and Dr. SM Danish (PHRASe) as facilitator. The partipants' feed back score of the course was 4.8 out of 5.0 with all the participants appreciating the “self-explanatory manual” which they “could get back to” and most participants appreciating the “interactive sessions” and the “hands-on practice”. SPSS Training Workshop for Data Analysis in Research for Medical Professionals: 28-29 April 2016

The Epidemiological Research Unit in collaboration with SPSS South Asia Pvt. Limited organized this two day workshop followed by six months online course. 60 participants were chosen for the workshop with a mix of residents and faculties of medical colleges. The lead trainer was Prof. Gangaboraiah B Andanaiah with Dr. Nafis Faizi as the co-trainer and organizing secretary and Dr. MS Khan with Dr. Maroof as facilitators. The participants were supported with their research analysis for the next six months leading to publications.
