Nafisa Lohawala
Hi, I am an economist and a fellow at Resources for the Future. I received my PhD in economics at the University of Michigan after receiving a BS-MS dual degree in economics with a minor in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. My research lies at the intersection of industrial organization, energy economics, and public finance. I focus on the role of government policies on environmental externalities generated by the transportation sector, including decarbonization strategies for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles and aviation.
