Computer vision and machine Learning for industrial automation:- Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor at Department of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I am teaching Smart Manufacturing and Data science courses as well as working on EFICAS (Energy Efficient Heterogeneous AI-Framework for Smart Mobile and Embedded Systems) project. My main focus is on the development of Machine Learning algorithms for conveyor belt predictive maintenance. My work includes Industrial sensors connection and communication with PLC, data collection and cloud computing, and building connections for real-time data monitoring in virtual twin using Unity. In addition, I am also working on the development of a Digital Twin of physical conveyor belt systems.

Computer vision and machine Learning for healthy livestock:- During my time at School of Global Food Security, Department of Biological Sciences, I worked on HealthyLivestock project. Where I developed a pigs’ social interaction monitoring algorithm with computer vision deep learning technology. I worked together with other biological scientists to understand the pigs’ social behaviors and implement them in computer vision-based models. The main tasks were data collection and analysis, data labeling, development of a fully automated pigs’ monitoring algorithm prototype for an early alarm system.

Autonomous UAVs for High Voltage powerlines Inspection:- During my postdoc at Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Department, I worked on 4 different projects. Where I directly worked
on two main projects: Drones4Energy (June 2019 - May 2021) and Drones4Safety (June 2021 - Feb 2022). The tasks included Data collection and analysis, labeling, training, and onboard testing for powerlines faults detection by using a deep Learning model. Besides the aforementioned projects, I also collaborated with the biology department for developing the algorithm for beach wrack dynamics monitoring by using a machine learning algorithm. During my affiliation with SDU, I also won YERUN 2021 Funding, where I collaborated with the University of Rijeka (Croatia) on a project "Object detection on coastal sea area." Regarding my academic achievements, I also taught the course "Future Autonomous UAVs" as we as supervised bachelor and Master Students. Mentoring and Teaching, Bachelor’s Course DM884: Autonomous UAVs 2021: Deep Learning Algorithms for Computer Vision and object detection, Single Board devices and their architecture used in Autonomous UAVs, Data types, Labeling and feeding the data to the network for training, Realtime processing of data on GPU based hardware.

Computer vision and Algorithm Design Engineer:- Developing computer vision-based AI solutions:- During my 6 months of internship, I worked in the AI team at MBH (Dalian, China) where I was working on developing the machine learning based solution by using Python, various modules and the features of computer vision-based object detection technologies. Some of the solutions involve Data Labeling software, Computer vision-based action recognition, Face landmark detection, camera calibration, and
vehicle detection.
