I am a researcher in political science at the University of Konstanz and am a member of the Cluster of Excellence The Politics of Inequality. I co-coordinate the project Students' Perceptions of Inequality and Fairness (PerFair)

In the summer term of 2025, I served as substitute for the professorship of Political Sociology and Social Policy at Humboldt University, Berlin.

From October to December 2024, I was an Academic Visitor at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention in Oxford, hosted by Prof. Jane Gingrich.

Previously, I conducted my PhD studies at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS) located at the University of Bamberg.

Among others, my research appears in Comparative Political Studies and the European Journal of Political Research.

I hold a master's degree in political science and a master's degree in survey statistics, both from the University of Bamberg.

I taught several courses at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the University of Konstanz, and the University of Bamberg on topics such as the politics of inequality, welfare policy making, social policy attitudes, or panel data analysis. Here you can find the syllabi of the courses I taught. Furthermore, I am regularly supervising Bachelor's and Master's theses.
