I am currently working at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging (WCHN) at UCL together with Stephen Fleming and Peter Kok to investigate the neural mechanisms of perceptual reality monitoring using a combination of psychophysics, computational modeling, machine learning, and neuroimaging

In October 2021 I was promoted to Senior Research Fellow and my position is currently funded by a Marie Curie Independent Fellowship from the European Commission. Prior to my promotion, from October 2019, I worked at the WCHN as a Research Fellow funded by a Rubicon postdoctoral fellowship

I did my PhD funded by a personal TopTalent grant in the Artificial Cognitive Systems lab at the Donders Institute in Nijmegen, the Netherlands in 2015-2019 supervised by Marcel van Gerven during which I investigated the neural overlap between imagery and perception using a combination of neuroimaging and machine learning.

I completed my MRes in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2015 and my BSc in Psychology in 2013, both at the Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
