My artistic practice is rooted in the belief that painting is not only a visual language, but a conceptual one. I begin each project with an idea, sometimes philosophical, sometimes personal, that determines its form, medium, and materials. I do not try to impose style onto the work; instead, I let the concept lead, allowing each series to take on its own distinct visual and emotional identity.

Having lived across multiple cultures, Russian, African, European, I see art as a way to bridge difference, to hold complexity, and to ask essential questions: Who are we? Where do we belong? What do we carry, inherit, and choose to leave behind? 

Through painting, I explore these shifting terrains. It is an ongoing conversation between memory and place, material and meaning, presence and absence.
