We use multidisciplinary approaches to uncover the molecular mechanisms involved in host-pathogen interactions

 We are specifically focused on understanding the role of bacteria’s pore-forming toxins in mammalian host pathogenesis. Moreover, we aim to harness these toxins for a range of biotechnological applications, one of the most promising being cancer treatment.
