I am currently pursuing Ph.D. from Department of Civil Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. I completed my master degree, M.Tech. in Hydraulic Structures from Aligarh Muslim University. The broad area of my research is urban and riverine flood management. My research focuses on how 'Green Infrastructure' can contribute to creating resilient and inclusive urban as well as rural environments, with a particular interest in hydrologic services. Through my research, I am working towards the development of nature-based sustainable approach for flood risk management which will also provide various ecosystem services and support the adaptation to the climate change. Apart from my research, I am very passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge. Contributing to the underprivileged section of society with the best of my knowledge and skills gives me immense happiness and satisfaction.
