HEALTH CARE Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 30, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern use of the HEALTH CARE mobile app and related doctor dashboard ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
## Health and Emergency Disclaimer
The App is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
The AI assistant provides general educational information, discusses symptoms and pain-location context, highlights urgent warning signs, and suggests possible medical specialties to consult. The AI assistant must not be used to obtain prescriptions, dosages, treatment plans, or final diagnoses.
## User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account and health information when using the App.
- Use reminders and wellness metrics as support tools, not as guaranteed medical monitoring.
- Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Use doctor chat respectfully and lawfully.
- Upload only files and reports that you have the right to store and share.
## Accounts and Security
Users can create accounts with email/password or supported Google sign-in. Multi-factor authentication may be available as an optional security feature. We may restrict, suspend, or remove access if an account is used unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that risks user safety or system security.
## Doctor Dashboard
Doctor dashboard users may receive patient messages, health metrics, reminders, uploaded files, body-area notes, and other records when the patient has provided or enabled access. The dashboard is intended to support communication and record review; it does not replace direct medical examination or clinical responsibility.
## Reminders and Notifications
Medicine and water reminders are convenience tools. Users are responsible for verifying schedules, doses, and timing with a qualified healthcare professional. Notifications may be delayed or blocked by device settings, battery restrictions, connectivity, operating system limits, or user permissions.
## Uploaded Files and Medical Notes
Users are responsible for the content of uploaded files, reports, pain notes, and chat messages. The App may store these materials in Supabase-backed storage and database tables so they can be accessed later by the user and authorized dashboard accounts.
## Privacy
Use of the App is also governed by the HEALTH CARE Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how account deletion works.
## Prohibited Use
You may not use the App to:
- Seek emergency care instead of contacting emergency services.
- Request illegal medical advice, controlled substances, or prescriptions through the AI assistant.
- Upload malware, abusive content, or files that violate another person's rights.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access another user's data, or interfere with the service.
- Misrepresent your identity or medical qualifications.
## Service Availability
We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may depend on third-party providers, device sensors, operating system permissions, Supabase, Google services, and network connectivity.
## Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEALTH CARE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for medical decisions made based on App content. Users remain responsible for seeking professional care.
## Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the App, policies, or legal requirements change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
