HEALTH CARE ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a health tracking and communication app that helps users manage reminders, view wellness metrics, save medical notes and files, chat with a doctor account, and ask an AI assistant for general symptom and specialty guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and how users can request deletion.

## Information We Collect
We collect information that users provide or choose to enable in the App:
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and optional Google sign-in identifiers.
- Profile information: name, age, height, gender, language, theme preference, and privacy preferences.
- Health and wellness information: daily step counts from supported device sensors, water intake, reminder schedules, body-area selections, pain notes, and optional heart-rate or wearable-related data when a compatible integration is enabled.
- Medical files: PDFs, images, or reports uploaded by the user.
- Communications: messages sent to the doctor dashboard, AI chat messages, and AI-generated summaries saved by the user.
- App operation data: local notification settings, reminder delivery metadata, and security/session information needed to operate the account.
The App does not intentionally collect data from children and is not directed to children under 13.
## How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, secure, and maintain the user account.
- Display the user's profile, reminders, steps, water intake, medical records, and selected body areas.
- Schedule local medicine and water reminders.
- Sync user-selected health records and files with Supabase so users and authorized doctor dashboard users can access them.
- Enable doctor chat and AI symptom guidance.
- Improve reliability, security, abuse prevention, and account recovery.
The AI assistant is for general health education, pain-location discussion, red-flag awareness, and specialty guidance only. It does not prescribe medication, dosage, or treatment plans.

- Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage services.
- Google may process information when Google sign-in is used.
- Gemini/Google AI processes AI chat prompts and relevant context when the user sends a message to the AI assistant.
- Authorized doctor dashboard accounts can access patient information only according to the user's sharing and privacy settings.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to investigate security abuse.
## Security
We use encrypted network connections, Supabase authentication, secure local session storage, role-based database access policies, and account security controls such as optional multi-factor authentication. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we design the App to reduce unauthorized access and avoid storing unnecessary data on the device.
## Retention and Deletion
We retain user data while the account is active or as needed to provide the App. Users can delete their data or delete their account from the App settings. Deleting an account removes associated profile data, privacy settings, reminders, health metrics, medical notes, chat records, and uploaded files where technically possible. Some limited records may be retained temporarily if required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or backup recovery.

## User Choices
Users can:
- Hide or show profile fields from privacy settings.
- Control whether health indicators and files are shared with a doctor dashboard.
- Disable or manage Android notifications from system settings.
- Use or skip optional multi-factor authentication.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, or service providers change. Updated versions will be posted at the same public URL with a new "Last updated" date.
