Man Yiu (Tim) Tsang

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) at Texas Tech University. I obtained my Ph.D. in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Karmel S. Shehadeh at Lehigh University. I received my M.Phil. in Risk Management Science under the supervisions of Prof. Tony Sit and Prof. Hoi Ying Wong from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I also obtained my B.Sc. in Risk Management Science. My methodological research interests and expertise center around data-driven stochastic optimization. My primary application areas are financial risk management, healthcare operations research, and transportation.
