About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems and Engineering (ISE) at Lehigh University. Previously, I was a Presidential and Dean Postdoctoral Fellow at Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with Prof. Rema Padman. I hold a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, where I had the privilege of being co-advised by Prof. Amy Cohn and Prof. Ruiwei Jiang. I also hold an M.S. in Systems Science and Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University and a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
My methodological research expertise and interests include data-driven optimization under uncertainty and (mixed) integer programming. My primary application areas and expertise are healthcare operations and analytics, facility location, transportation systems, and fairness-promoting optimization.
I am an Associate Editor for Transportation Science and INFORMS Journal on Computing. In addition, I serve on the Early Career Editorial Advisory Board of Transportation Research Part C.
