Examining Replacement Theology: A Mid-Acts Dispensational Analysis

Introduction

Replacement Theology (also called Supersessionism) represents one of the most pervasive errors in church teaching today, claiming that the Church has permanently replaced Israel in God's program. This teaching fails to rightly divide the word of truth and confuses God's distinct programs for Israel and the Body of Christ.

What is Replacement Theology?

1. The Church is "spiritual Israel"

2. Israel's promises now belong to the Church

3. God is finished with national Israel

4. Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled spiritually in the Church

5. There is no future for national Israel
